Our AC at home decided to stop working, and it was 80° in the house. At 9pm, I left home to find a place for the night. I went to two other hotels, and they didn’t have a room we needed for two adults and a kid, plus the prices were outrageous because of some baseball tourney going on with LSU. This hotel was the third stop, and the receptionist was an absolute pleasure. She let me view the room first, and even brought a bed-in-a-bag so I could set up the couch for my kid. The room was huge, clean, and most importantly cold! Would highly recommend Holiday Inn Express on Kaliste, if you ever need a place to stay.
The staff was friendly and professional. Facilities are very clean. Moderate breakfast, but it was OK. Rooms are spacious and clean. It says in the "about us" that this site is kid and lbgtq friendly. I'm just curious as to why it's necessary to print this. Most adults comprehend that this is normal. Are straight people not welcome? Do some hotels not allow children? It would be nice if someone would proofread the website details. It's still a very nice hotel, even with strange website management.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room and I slept great. Great breakfast too.
Really Nice hotel, nice staff and really nice rooms. Stayed here on new years eve and it was nice. The pancakes were really chewy and plastic like though but they were good. Over all 5 stars
We had no trouble with reservations and were able to extend our stay in extra day without problems. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast area was clean, coffee was better than average, rest of breakfast about average. Our room was larger than expected and clean, but the bathroom fixtures were old and needed replacing. Minimal interior noise, but lots of road noise easily heard in our room that faced the road. The bed was average, pillows a little better than average.
Everything was spectacular. I was coming in from out of town short notice and they take care of me and even upgraded my room. The dining room was immaculate. The food was excellent. Housekeeping was wonderful. Check-in was easy. I think this is absolutely my best and favorite. Stay at any hotel and Holiday inn Express five stars all the way.
Nice clean room and lobby area, fitness is good, elevator is good . Thf front desk staff is super nice and quick. Coffee and hot water available all time
We drove in late with no reservation and we were so thankful this Holiday Inn was able to accommodate us. As members for 20 years, we try to stay at IHG's. The young man at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and we were grateful after our long trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but it wasn't lumpy either. Parking was a bit tricky as there was only 1 spot left to park in when we arrived. If there was parking elsewhere, we didn't see it at the time. Because of the friendly service and convenience to everything, we would consider staying at this location again.
